The ALD Alliance helps families across the United States that are newly diagnosed with adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) by giving them the resources they need to fight this rare and devastating disease.

Alex TLC

Alex, The Leukodystrophy Charity

Alex, The Leukodystrophy Charity (Alex TLC) provides invaluable support and information to people affected by a genetic leukodystrophy. Established in 2004 as ALD Life, we are an internationally recognised centre of excellence for those affected by adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN).

Arrivederci ALD

Arrivederci ALD is a charitable organization raising crucial funds for adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) research.

Fight ALD

The mission of Fight ALD is to save the lives of our boys by bringing about awareness through education to our community and medical professionals about the early onset symptoms and diagnostic test for ALD.

The Global Leukodystrophy Initiative

The Global Leukodystrophy Initiative Clinical Trials Network (GLIA-CTN) is a consortium of scientists, industry stakeholders, and patient advocacy leaders working together to promote advances in the diagnosis and treatment of leukodystrophies.

Hunter’s Hope Foundation

Hunter’s Hope Foundation was established to address the acute need for information and research with respect to Krabbe Disease and related leukodystrophies.

Knockout ALD

Knockout ALD is a non-profit dedicated to raising awareness of and funds for adrenoleukodystrophy research. Knockout ALD organizes and hosts the Run for ALD, Cure the Boys 5K and a one-mile-walk event in Maryland Heights, Missouri.

Leukodystrophy Resource Resource Organization

The mission of the Leukodystrophy Resource Resource Organization is to maximize health care resources, advance the world’s leading research, and to provide the premium support for all the Australasian Leukodystrophy families with the outcome being a cure.

Remember The Girls

Remember The Girls’ mission is to raise awareness of the many issues facing female carriers of x-linked genetic disorders; to provide a forum for x-linked females to share their stories, ask questions, provide and receive emotional support, and develop friendships; to advocate for increased attention of the medical community to the physical and emotional issues of females who carry x-linked disorders; and to provide financial support to carriers of X-linked disorders for medical treatment and diagnosis, as well as those seeking to build families free of genetic disease through assisted reproductive technologies and adoption.

The Stop ALD Foundation

The Stop ALD Foundation focuses on accelerating the process of developing new knowledge and new therapies for adrenoleukodystrophy.

X out ALD

X out ALD is a 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to increasing awareness of adrenoleukodystrophy and supporting research of the disease at the University of Minnesota Leukodystrophy Center.
