About the ALD Connect Annual Meeting & Patient Learning Academy

Each year, the ALD Connect Annual Meeting and Patient Learning Academy gathers the entire community for the world’s largest ALD-specific conference. It is a two-day event that offers both in-person and virtual participation. This unique format allows attendees to engage in meaningful discussions, gain insights from leading experts, and build lasting connections, whether they’re joining us in person or online.

Main Conference: The agenda will feature presentations from leading ALD researchers and clinicians who will share the latest findings, discuss ongoing studies, and explore new directions in treatment and clinical care. The conference will also include patient perspectives, breakout sessions, and Q&A discussions designed to provide practical knowledge, support, and real world guidance. Whether newly diagnosed or living with ALD for many years, participants will have access to valuable information, education, and community. By bringing patients, caregivers, researchers, clinicians, and industry partners together in one setting, the meeting fosters connection, shared learning, and collaboration that advances ALD research and clinical care.

The Research Fair is your gateway to exploring ongoing and upcoming research projects that aim to transform the landscape of ALD. This event features displays from various research teams and institutions, showcasing their work and potential breakthroughs. Engage directly with researchers, learn about clinical trials, and find out how you can get involved in advancing ALD research.

Join us at the Poster Session to delve into the latest advancements and research findings in ALD. This interactive segment allows attendees to engage with a wide range of scientific posters, presented by leading researchers and practitioners. It’s an excellent opportunity to gain insights into emerging trends, ask questions, and discuss research outcomes with the experts driving innovation in the field.
