Registration Now Open for the 2026 ALD Connect Annual Meeting and Patient Learning Academy

Each year, the ALD Connect Annual Meeting and Patient Learning Academy brings the community together in a way that few other events can. It is a place where patients, families, researchers, clinicians, and industry partners come together to learn, connect, and continue moving ALD research and care forward.

We’re pleased to share that registration is now open for the 2026 meeting, taking place November 6–7, 2026 in Salt Lake City, Utah. For those who are unable to travel, the full event will also be available virtually, making it accessible to our global community.

What You Can Expect

Over two days, the meeting will offer a thoughtful and balanced program.

The main conference will feature presentations from leading researchers and clinicians who are advancing understanding of ALD. These sessions will explore the latest scientific developments, ongoing studies, and emerging approaches to treatment and clinical care. Alongside this, patient perspectives, breakout discussions, and Q&A sessions will provide practical insight and real-world guidance for individuals and families.

On the evening of Friday, November 6, the Poster Session will bring together a wide range of research from across the field.

The event also includes the Annual Auction, which has become an important and enjoyable part of the meeting. It offers a chance to support our work while taking part in something that brings the community together in a different way.

Share Your Research

For researchers, the Poster Session is an opportunity to be part of the conversation. If you are working on ALD-related research at any level, you are invited to submit a poster for consideration.

Presenting your work at the meeting allows you to share your findings, connect with others in the field, and contribute to the broader understanding of ALD. To present, at least one author must attend the meeting in person.

The deadline to submit a poster is September 15, 2026.

Travel Support for Patients and Families

We are happy to offer partial travel scholarships for patients and families who would otherwise be unable to attend the 2026 Annual Meeting and Patient Learning Academy.

Funding is available for eligible travel expenses, with up to $1,200 per individual or $1,600 per household. Priority will be given to those attending for the first time or those who have been recently diagnosed.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and the deadline to apply is September 15, 2026. We encourage early applications.
