Registration Now Open for the 2025 ALD Connect Annual Meeting and Patient Learning Academy

We’re excited to announce that registration is now open for the 2025 ALD Connect Annual Meeting and Patient Learning Academy, taking place November 7–8, 2025, in Cambridge, Massachusetts at the Hyatt Regency Hotel Boston/Cambridge.

Each year, this event brings together patients, families, researchers, clinicians, and industry partners to share knowledge, build connections, and work together to advance care and research in adrenoleukodystrophy.

Day One: Scientific Session (Friday, November 7)

We’ll kick off the meeting with a full day of ALD-focused research and scientific dialogue. Hear from leading investigators as they share the latest findings, explore new treatment strategies, and discuss the future of ALD research.

Poster Session and Research Fair (Friday Evening)

After the Scientific Session, don’t miss our Poster Session, featuring cutting-edge work from researchers at all stages of their careers. The Research Fair will showcase current and upcoming projects, including ways for community members to get involved in clinical trials and research efforts.

Are you working on ALD-related research? We invite you to submit a poster for consideration! Anyone attending the event in person is eligible to present. Poster applications are due September 1, 2025, by 11:59 PM Eastern.

Day Two: Patient Learning Academy (Saturday, November 8)

Saturday is all about empowering patients and caregivers. Through expert-led talks, breakout sessions, and Q&As, we’ll cover key topics affecting daily life with ALD. Whether you’re just beginning your journey or have years of experience, this day offers practical knowledge and strong community support.

Industry Partners: Mark Your Calendars

We’re also planning a dedicated Industry Advisory Council meeting for Thursday, November 6, ahead of the full conference. This session is reserved for industry partners and will provide an opportunity for deeper collaboration and discussion.
